Committees

The Certification committee brings you two SHRM Certification study groups each calendar year to facilitate career development among its members. The committee is also responsible for obtaining certification credits for SHRM LI programs.
The Marketing Committee manages the marketing and public relations for the chapter. The goal is to engage SHRM LI members by keeping membership informed of chapter initiatives, activities, and upcoming meetings. Marketing Committee also shares timely and relevant information that members would find useful though social media outlets.
The Membership committee hosts in person and virtual networking events designed to introduce, engage and retain new and seasoned members. The committee also welcomes new members with welcome tool kit to help new members become familiar with the chapter and its benefits and programs.
The Programming Committee provides professional development/educational programs for those members looking to increase their knowledge and elevate the impact they have in their organizations.
The Workforce Readiness committee is dedicated to supporting workforce initiatives that close talent and skill gaps for HR and business. WR will use its resources (workforce partners, community/corporate partnerships, higher education, etc.) to make an impact through educational workshops, webinars, events, and thought leadership.
