SHRM Long Island is excited to announce the Spring 2023 launch of the HR L.E.A.D. Mentoring Program exclusively for Long Island Chapter members. The HR "L.E.A.D." Mentoring Program will provide opportunities to "Learn, Empower, Advance, Develop" as our Chapter members are able to either volunteer as a Mentor or participate as a Mentee. As HR professionals, we understand more than most that an effective mentoring program, especially one that is devoted specifically to Human Resources professionals, will support both the development of our future HR leaders while simultaneously fostering healthy work relationships, and facilitating two-way learning for everyone involved. Program members (both Mentors and Mentees) will be able to take the skills learned and add value to their organizations by strengthening HR talent through professional development, building confidence, and providing career advancement, while expanding their professional network in a fun and engaging way and giving back to our HR community.
In order to succeed, the launch of the LI Chapter HR L.E.A.D. Mentoring requires your support and commitment. Please review the attached application and sign up today as either a Mentor or Mentee before February 28th. 2023.
